What is the project "Building E-machi"?

The Internet has expanded remarkably. Who would have expected ten years ago that the Internet would pervade among the general public this much. It is no exaggeration to say that at present the number of sites including both personal and corporate, found on search engines is literally innumerable.

With the aim that Sanjo Industrial Cooperative should gain worldwide recognition, we have moved with such trends, have paid attention to the Internet as a communications medium and have worked on building and maintaining our site. It was January 2000 that Sanjo Industrial Cooperative built its HP for the first time. That seems to be rather early among cooperatives in Japan.

The purpose of the renewal of the Sanjo Industrial Cooperative HP and the project "Building E-machi" this time is to create a database. This database of over 500 member companies is run by Sanjo Industrial Cooperative in order to build an aggregate that can meet various needs and offer highly advanced technology. By putting each corporation together and organizing them, it has become possible to introduce the products and technology more efficiently, effectively and speedily to the users who will be able to order.

Furthermore, we believe that Sanjo Industrial Cooperative will be able to make a contribution to the community if each company representative and each employee realize their role in supporting the local industry of the Sanjo area and work hard to activate the economy. That is the very concept of the project "Building E-machi".
